Welcome to Rowdown Primary. We are a warm, positive and welcoming primary school that sits at the heart of our local community. Our aim for your child is clear and simple; to give them the very best start in life, acquiring knowledge and behaviours for learning that they will need in order to lead happy and meaningful lives, full of choice and opportunity.
While education opens doors, it is not enough on its own. We aim for our children to leave Year 6 with the resilience and work ethic they need to succeed and the desire to do so.
We want them to experience a range of enriching learning experiences, developing new interests and passions. We support their personal development through a variety of exciting clubs, activities and citizenship opportunities and have a values based culture, where pupils take ownership of the choices they make.
Above all, we create an environment where every child feels safe, valued, known and accepted. We are proud of our school and we look forward to showing you around!

We were delighted to welcome Father Prem from New Addington St Edwards Church into school to celebrate Harvest with us. Some of our children also shared a lovely Harvest poem, and we would like to say a special thank you to Father Prem for joining us and helping us celebrate together.
We are now working with our School Council to decide where our generous donations can make the biggest difference in our local community.

Our Nursery children had so much fun during Bucket Time! They were engaged, excited and full of anticipation as they discovered new vocabulary linked to the exciting resources hidden inside the bucket. 🌟
The children showed fantastic sitting, listening and attention skills, joining in with enthusiasm and enjoying every moment of their learning. 💬👀👏
